10th Grade
annual progress review
All sophomores meet with their counselor individually in March/April. Topics include:
- Review of transcript and progress toward graduation
- Continued development of college/career/military plans and Career Pathways
- Using Scoir to begin building a resume and researching colleges
- Course selections for junior year
- A copy of students' course selections is sent home for families to review before student schedules are built.
college Fairs
The 2022 annual Eastside College Fair was hosted by Jamesville DeWitt High School on Monday, October 3rd, 2022. Please stay tuned for the 2023 fair date!
Due to COVID-19, the college fairs run by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) were virtual for the spring of 2022. Please check back for updates on the status of college fairs for the spring of 2023!
PSAT
Sophomores who are accelerated in math and/or English are encouraged to take the PSAT in October.
