ESM DECA Students Earn 34 Awards at Regionals
ESM DECA had a great performance at the 2023 DECA Region 9 Conference at Le Moyne College taking home 34 awards which advanced them to states! Advancing to the NYS DECA Career Conference are 11 students who placed in the top 5 of their event and 23 students for their community service projects. Three students that placed individually & with a project will only compete in their community service project at states.Placing first in their event were: Evan Fitzgerald, Quick Serve Restaurant Management; Ososeno Ikhide, Business Law & Ethics and Jasmine Kennedy, Business Law & Ethics.
Earning 2nd were Shawn Weigel, Accounting Applications and Emma Wilson-Hefti, Marketing Communications. Third place finishers were Olivia Ferrara, Principles of BM & Administration and Aristyn Muldoon, Entrepreneurship.
Taking 4th in Business Finance was Amit Iyer. 5th place finishes went to Ermin Hajdarevic, Hotel and Lodging Management; Aria Liebman, Personal Financial Literacy and Cara'Mya Mere, Restaurant & Food Service Management.

- Tanner Jace, Dominik Greco & Aiden Martinez “Camps for Cause” to benefit Clear Path for Veterans
