Friendly Reminder:
Families now have until August 19th to make your selection for the upcoming school year.
 

Families Have Two Options:

Distance Learning: Live, interactive distance learning will be 5 days per week. We will take attendance and students will connect live with teachers every day and follow a schedule.

In-Person Learning: In-person instruction is planned 5 days a week. However, based on parent requests, if we exceed our capacity for in-person learning, then we will need to implement a hybrid model. Students would attend 2 days in-person and have 3 days of distance learning. However, families that choose ALL distance learning will still follow that model.

 

Virtual Meetings: ESM is holding three virtual meetings to answer questions and address concerns about school reopening. In a follow-up email, we will share further information on how to connect to these virtual meetings. 

• August 13 at 6:30 p.m.
• August 17 at 10 a.m.
• August 18 at 4:30 p.m.

 

Ready to Confirm Distance or In-Person Learning? We realize that in some families, both parents/guardians receive ESM emails. PLEASE have ONLY ONE parent/guardian fill out the form for each child. To allow time for the complex scheduling of transportation and classroom occupancy, We would appreciate if you would confirm your students choice by Friday, August 14th though you do have until August 19th if you choose. If you are now ready to confirm your family’s final decision of in-person or distance learning for this fall for your child(ren), you can fill out the Pine Grove Reopening of School Confirmation Form for your child’s school. Please note that families must wait until after the second marking period in February 2021 if they want to change models.
