Principal's Message

As we head into the winter months, Woodland continues to have a good year. Our students and staff are working very hard in all areas of learning, and a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction abounds within the building.

Our teachers continue to use best teaching practices as outlined in our School Improvement Plan. Our PBIS team continues to contribute to the positive climate of the building through our star system and our monthly assemblies. We also have a large number of staff that meet monthly to discuss and apply the work of Stephen Covey and the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

Please remember to continue reading with your children. Reading with our children nurtures a life long love of books, builds vocabulary, and helps maintain wonderful family relationships.

Let's continue to work together to provide our children with the tools needed for a successful future.
