                                                    Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The dedication of Woodland's walking path was celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Every grade entered a name for our new path. Then the students voted on the name they liked the best. Mrs. Walsh's kindergarten class was the winner with the name "Woodland's Walkway". We walked a 100 miles at our ribbon day ceremony. Our students use the Woodland Walkway at recess and during gym they usually walk 1/4 of a mile. Our math enrichment class mapped out the site last year using google earth. Then with the approval of Mr. McEachron & Mr. Tyminski on the location it was ready for use the beginning of school. Mrs. Larsen's 4th grade class has already walked 170 miles.
