Holiday Celebrations
  
I am collecting $5.00 to cover the cost of our holiday celebrations this year.  Holiday celebrations will consist of Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's Day.  We will also have an end of the year celebration.

Birthdays

At this time we have 22 students in our classroom. Parents are welcome to come in and celebrate with their child.  Birthdays are celebrated with healthy treats that meet our new nutritional standards.   Please let me know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly.


Homework Policy

Students have a designated homework folder.  A Planner has also been provided for students to write down their nightly homework assignments.  Homework is written down at the end of each day and is the student's responsibility to ensure this is done.  Please check your child's Planner to see this is being done and initial each night.  A large emphasis is placed on organization this year.

Homework is due on its assigned date.  I don't accept late homework.  Homework is used as additional reinforcement of skills learned that particular day.  Not completing homework when assigned will affect students effort grade on the report card.

1st Marking Period-  Conference Day

2nd Marking Period-  January 30

3rd Marking Period-  April 9

4th Marking Period-  Last day of school
