Mrs. Mastrobattisto's 2007-2008 6th Grade Band:
District Wide Concert!! Tuesday, March 4th at 7 pm in High School Large Gym.
Parents In Band Day March 26th or 27th (Actual day will be assigned as the day gets closer. Band day changes according to 4-day rotation, which may be effected by snow days.)
Look for "Gold-colored" Information sheets to come home this week with your child.
This day is designed to give parents a chance to experience making music with their child. Have your child teach you how to play a few notes on their instrument and learn to count basic ryhthms so you can actually play with the band! You may also to opt to just visit the classroom on this day without playing an instrument. Look for the sign-up sheet in the information packet this week!
Sign-ups are due March 3rd.
Solo and Ensemble Festival - April 30th - 4:30-8:30pm
Participation is optional. We encourage students to try a solo, duet, trio or quartet with like instruments. Cost is $10 per event. Sign-ups are due April 1st!
6th Grade Band - Music In the Parks Festival (Darien Lake) Saturday, May 17th!
6th Grade Concert - June 10th, 7PM ESM High School Auditorium
