GET ACTIVE @ the Library this month!

- THANKS to Pine Grove for collecting $92.00 in spare change to purchase books for the children of Vera House, a local program for families dealing with the challenges of domestic violence.
- Congrats to Autumn C. who was the grand prize winner of the "Get to Know Your Community Photo Contest". She identified 25/25 pictures of businesses and organizations in our local communities. Thanks to Diana B. and Emily S. who coordinated the contest.
- Thank you to the 30 plus students who gave up their lunch time to read to some younger friends at Woodland Elementary School.
100 plus students enjoyed a fantastic presentation by author/illustrator Matt McElligott in March. This event was funded by the Library Club and an Exxon grant. If you have ideas of who you'd like to hear from next year, let the Library know!
- The Library Club will continue next year. We are always looking for new members and new ideas on what WE can do for YOU. Stop by and find out about upcoming events. We were just awarded a $500 grant from the CNY Teaching Center to support these activities. YOUR input is KEY! See Mrs. Kowalski for more info.
- The Pine Grove Library has CHIEFS BASEBALL TICKETS for you and your family/friends. Bring in 10 can tabs and you'll get a FREE ticket for the Chiefs-Braves game at Alliance Bank Stadium on Thursday, June 19.
