Welcome to the Shooting Stars Classroom. We are an inclusive classroom with an emphasis on the deaf and hearing impaired child included with the PreK children at Park Hill. Our AM session is an auditory/oral approach with an emphaisis on listening which is essential for all preschoolers. Some of our students have cochlear implants. In the afternoon class we use total communication (sign language) to add a visual support for students with hearing impairments. Most children enjoy the sign language and it is fun for all. The teachers include Mrs. Fey, Mrs. Streeter and Mrs. Elliott (Speech Therapist). Mrs. Solivar and Mrs. Farnett help students with their small and large motor needs. Come to see us anytime!
