Discovery Room

Welcome to the Discovery Room!

We are a half day inclusive preschool classroom serving the needs of all children through differentiated instruction. The general education and special education teachers plan and co-teach the class with support from 2 teaching assistants, a speech therapist, an occupational therapist and a physical therapist. We use the Scott-Foresman Preschool Reading Series, which focus' on expanding vocabulary, concepts about print, letter-sound awareness and other pre-reading/writing skills. We follow the Park Hill Program Four Year Old Learning Plan while maintaining a balance with where each child is developmentally to insure each child reaches their highest potential.
