Busy Bees Room
Welcome to the Busy Bees classroom!
The teachers in the morning session include Ms. Cheryl Cronin, Mrs. Cynthia Baker, Mrs. Brenda Hazlewood, and Mrs. Elaine McKnight. In the afternoon session the teachers consist of Ms. Cronin, Mrs. Baker. and Mrs. Nancy Hulbert. Also throughout the day some of the children receive speech and language services from Miss Carole Marascalshi, physical therapy from Mrs. Renee Selover as well as occupational therapy from Mrs. Kathy Farnett, Mrs. Amada Hazen and Mrs. Sue Tierney. There are 12 children in the morning and 11 children in the afternoon. Our schedule consists of arrival from buses or parents, taking care of our possessions, and playing in the various centers that are "open". After about 45 minutes, we clean-up and meet on the rug to say "Hello" and do calendar. We then wash up for snack and/or look at books. After snack we meet again to sing songs and do a circle time activity as well as listen to a story or do an activity relating to the Scott Foresman Reading Series. We then break up into small groups to work on specific skills. After this we go to the gym or the playground for some well deserved exercise before going home. It is a busy day for the Busy Bees!
