Book Cooks Club

Book Cooks 2010

Library Media Specialist, Mrs. Nabinger, Library Clerk, Mrs. Spicola, and Teaching Assistant Yvette Hinman have continued the cooking club for students in the library.  It is called Book Cooks.  Mrs. Nabinger begins by reading a book to the students and then together they prepare a healthy recipe that relates to the story.   Some of the foods prepared last year were chicken soup, quesadillas and panini sandwiches. The students are very enthusiastic about the food preparation.  They especially enjoy sampling the final product! 
Book Cooks is held
Tuesdays or Thursdays (1st and 2nd grade groups) from 2:00 - 3:00
