Message From The Principal

The Barnes and Noble Poetry Read/Activity Night will be held on Wednesday, May 21st.  There will be students reading their poems at 5:30 p.m. with special planned activities at 4:00 and 6:30 p.m.  We hope that you can join us for this event.

On Wednesday, May 30th, 4th and 5th graders  will learn about the Erie Canal from presenter, Martha Kendall.  She  will  share Erie Canal landscape photos, building stories and songs.  It's an exciting presentation made possible by the PTO.  We appreciate your generosity in funding this event.

As we look toward the nice weather and going outdoors for recess please make sure students are wearing sneakers or  comfortable shoes for running and jumping around.  So often there are accidents when students are wearing flip-flops and open sandals.  We need to make sure everyone is safe during this time.

The ESM budget vote will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at  the high school.  Mark your calendars to vote.

The Minoa PTO is planning to hold a Dinner Auction in the early fall at Minoa Elementary.  We hope to make this a fun family event while raising monies for the school.  It will take a lot of  effort to make this happen.  Please contact either Judi Boland or Cathy Buffaloe if you would be willing to assist.  If you know of a business that would be willing to donate an item or service for the auction please let us know.
