School Health Basics

PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS:

New York State mandates a physical exam for children at the elementary level in grades K, 2, and 4.

It is always preferred that your child receive a physical by their private health care provider, as he or she knows your child. Our school physician does offer a school physical for the above mandated grades.  The school physicals are normally done in January and a completed health history is required with a parent or guardian signature.
