Welcome to the Computer Lab Mrs.Patrick, Lab Assistant Our computer lab has a bank of twenty-six PC computers. All of the students beginning with kindergarten have computer lab once a week for about 40 minutes. Each student has an assigned computer station where they sit each time they are in the lab. The students login to their network accounts as soon as they arrive to begin their lab session.  The classroom teacher and computer lab teaching assistant, Mrs. Patrick, plan lab activities for the students. We have plenty of software for our computers. Some examples are: Kid Pix 4, Microsoft Word, Kidspiration, Inspiration, Graphers, Type to Learn, Powerpoint, Microsoft Publisher, Timeliner, Kid Works Deluxe, and more. Our school also has a 'rolling' laptop cart. It holds twenty six PC laptops. The classroom teacher may borrow the cart and take it to their classroom to allow additional computer time for their students. Over a period of time, Mrs. Patrick has compiled a wide assortment of websites. They are saved to a Portaportal, and organized by grade level. The students then have easy and safe access to the educational websites that are used in school. Most of the websites were selected because they tie in with grade level curriculum. On the Portaportal there is also a category for fun activities students like and can visit when they have free time.
