Literacy Pumpkins

Around Halloween, Fremont students are invited to create a pumpkin face based on a literature character from books. Pumpkins need to be painted, not carved. Each pumpkin is labeled with the student's name and character and then displayed in the school lobby. After a week of display the pumpkins are taken home and each student receives a certificate of participation.

Some of the pumpkins creations:   Athur, Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Dr. Seuss, Mickey Mouse, and many more that people worked very hard to create.
