Arbor Day Activities

Arbor Day is a special day for planting trees. Since some forests are being cut down, less oxygen is being made. So new trees will help the environment. A company named, The Bartlet Tree Co. come to our school. They adopted one of the schools trees to trim to make it healthy again. Also, six new trees were planted, one for each grade level. The trees were donated by Manlius Arbor Day Foundation. We will enjoy the new trees all year around, but especially in the summer. As a student, I watched the men trim our maple tree. I also watched one of the men go up in a cart, higher then the school! It was the best thing ever!
