Curriculum
The Mission Statement of our physical education program at Fremont is to help make students more physically educated through developmental fitness activities, through the interjection of interdisciplinary concepts when appropriate, and through the building of pro-social skills during each lesson that we teach.
In large part, this is accomplished through the development and the delivery of an age appropriate curriculum that takes into account the characteristics, behaviors, and urges of our various aged students. By making the student the focus of each lesson, as opposed to the sport, we have developed a student-centered curriculum to challenge students of all abilities, at all grade levels, by introducing and revisiting broad fitness-based themes.
