  • BOCES classes meet in the morning from 8:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and in the afternoon from 12:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Transportation is provided.
  • The Occupational Center welcomes visits from parents of students interested in this type of program.
  • A maximum of three units of credit will be granted for Occupational Education classes at BOCES each year.
  • Because these classes are based upon "hands on" experience, less that three credits will be given to students with a poor attendance record. Please refer to the BOCES Attendance and Credit Policy in the student handbook.
 
BOCES New Visions Program
BOCES offers a 5-unit, daily program for students interested in the medical or criminal justice field. Students in the "New Visions" program are awarded 5-units of credit upon successful completion of the courses. English and Social Studies courses are taken on location as part of the program. Students fulfill their Physical Education requirement at the high school either in the morning or afternoon. These courses require special approval.
