Board of Education Candidate Packets Available

Anyone interested in running for the ESM Board of Education may pick up a petition packet at the District Office, 407 Fremont Rd., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Petitions must be returned by 5 p.m., April 21. There are two four-year terms and one two-year term expiring. For more information, contact the business office at 434-3004.

Pursuant to state law, to be eligible to serve you must be: 1) a citizen of the United States, 2) 18 years of age of older, 3) a legal resident of the school district for one year prior to appointment, and 4) able to read and write.

Applicants cannot be a current employee of the ESM School District, may not simultaneously hold another incompatible public office, and cannot have a member of the same household currently serving on the ESM School Board.
