Budget Vote: May 20, noon to 9 p.m., ESM High School
Propositions on the Ballot:
Proposition #1: Proposed School Budget $68,270,040.
Proposition #2: Purchase of School Buses not to exceed $379,000.
Proposition #3: Creating a new capital reserve fund for renovations, improvements and additions to District facilities.
Proposition #4: Funding of the public library in East Syracuse for $80,000.
Five Candidates Running for Three Seats: Voters will elect two candidates to four-year terms and one to complete two years of a vacated term on the Board of Education. Elections will be held during the budget vote and trustee election on May 20 from noon to 9 p.m. in the ESM High School gymnasium lobby.
The candidates are Leah Cushing, Mark LaFountain, Matthew Uryniak, D. Paul Waltz, and Debra B. Eichholtz . Incumbents Randy Rupe and Ronald Roney Jr. are not running for re-election to the Board.
