Preview of Champions Percussion Contest

When: 1 p.m. March 29 at ESM Central High School

Tickets:  $6 at the door.

Featuring: 10-15 drum lines 

Hosts:  This is the first indoor percussion contest hosted by the ESM Band Boosters and Winter Percussion Ensemble.

Indoor percussion is sweeping the country and gives percussionists the opportunity to show off their skills. In its third season, the ESM Winter Percussion Ensemble will continue to establish itself as one of the top standstill percussion lines on the New York State Percussion Circuit.

Staff members/show: Greg Cwilka, Robyn Launt and Nate Moser have been hard at work putting together their 2008 show titled "Classic Comedies" using the music of Rossini, Shostakovich and Bizet to bring it to life.
